Is a trade permit worth paying someone to pull?
That depends on what your day is worth. The permit itself is cheap and the application is short. The cost is the trip, the queue, and the second trip when the counter wants something you did not bring.
Can you pull several at once?
Yes. Multiple addresses in one batch is normal, and a second address on the same submittal is an add-on rather than a second full fee.
What if the city wants the homeowner present?
Some counters do for certain work. We find that out before we file rather than sending anybody down there to be turned away.
