What the department wants from you
Send what you have. Anything missing, we come back and ask once, before it goes in rather than after a correction.
Signed contract or a scope you can stand behind
System size in kW DC, module and inverter counts, and whether storage is on the same permit.
Plan set
Site plan, roof layout, single line diagram, attachment detail, and placards. If you do not have one, we can draw it.
Equipment cut sheets
Module, inverter, optimiser, and battery. The listing numbers on these are what SolarAPP+ checks against.
Your licence and BTRC numbers
The application goes in under your licence and you sign it. We prepare everything up to that line.
Owner contact for the signature
Some jurisdictions want an owner declaration alongside the contractor's.

Questions we get on this one
Is SolarAPP+ priced differently from plan check?
They are two different jobs. A SolarAPP+ city runs an automated check and can issue immediately. A city still running solar through full plan check means a human reviewer and correction rounds. We quote each job on that path.
Do you handle the panel upgrade on the same permit?
Yes, when the jurisdiction allows it on one submittal. It is an add-on rather than a second full permit fee, because the application work overlaps.
What about interconnection and PTO?
That is a separate track with the utility and it is not part of the building permit. We file the permit. Tell us if the utility application is also stalled and we will say plainly whether we can help with it.
